Lost my Dad this week. Doubt there was ever a father and son as close as we were. Was a difficult year and a tough few months for him, so I'm relieved he went peacefully. So many great times and good memories. Goodnight and god bless β€
If this protracted and long winded World Cup has taught us one thing, its that Just Fontaine is still the absolute boss. Football existed before the year 2000. #WorldCup
@CinemaTweets1 I didn't enjoy it. Fair enough it may be an accurate reflection of Neil Armstrong, but its not really entertaining spending 2 hours in the company of a man with no personality. Should have made more use of the rest of the cast/characters.
@JazRignall Wow Shadowgate is a classic too! Alien Isolation 5.9 vibes there lol. Actually think the NES and the Gameboy were two of the most adventurous games platforms out there, they'd try and port anything.
VAR has been going for a few years now it's still complete rubbish. Listening to the referee ITV has on comms shows how the game shouldn't be dominated by officials.
@TheStingisBack I like the Christ allegory. The way I see it is we've spent 2 hours watching people acting foolish in raising Chance to greatness, and then as the end it turns out we the viewers were the fools all along
@trevorbaxendale It was that time when Micahel Caine took any acting gig that was offered. It's not that bad though, and Lee Ermey gives a hilarious performance as ever.
@TheStingisBack I love the story of how the guy playing de Gaulle bore such a resemblance to him, that the people of Paris actually thought it was him, despite him being dead for 3 years.
So they will be sending people to the moon before HS2 opens? Somebody needs to work out why we are so bad at infrastructure projects and make sure it doesn't happen again.
