Think about it, this kid grew up in Franklin. Die hard Vols fan his entire life. Always dreamed of playing for the Vols. Committed to Tennessee knowing a 5 star QB was there. Stayed at Tennessee after ANOTHER 5 star QB came in. Stayed after losing the QB battle. Never faltered, complained. Just stayed the course. Got his opportunity when it came, and in just his second start won The Third Saturday In October, the biggest game of the season every year for Tennessee. Storybook stuff. And just look at him. Look at that smile. You know that smile is coming from somewhere deep down. That’s not a normal “victory” smile. Congrats, George. This is your moment. You deserve it. GBO 🙌🧡🍊
