Well, with all due respect, Europe lost the global tech race a long time ago. Is there a chance to wake Europe from its slumber? Possibly, yes, but it would require a massive political shift. Meanwhile, it would be better for each country within the Union to reclaim greater sovereignty over matters of tech and regulation to prevent the bureaucratic leviathan from gaining complete control over the continent.
