After reading “Dos Primos” in Wonders, we were inspired to make tamales! We read “Tamales for Sunday” watched real chefs, learned from Señora Maria Cutz hands on, & then enjoyed tamales. Literacy, culture, and joy culminated on the “100th day of school.”
