@Arsenal Everyone makes mistakes, well done for admitting it and not looking for excuses. A statement doesn't make this go away, but I respect this statement - unlike any of the others made by the English clubs.
@PatrickTimmons1 For everyone saying that
'The rules are bad but the ref was right, if Luiz had attempted to play the ball and clattered him it would be a yellow'
Look at the Luiz on Tammy Abraham red card. Luiz attempts to play the ball and clatters him - red card.
@NateSilver538 Let's assume the polls were out by a 2016ish margin, and I think that assumption is somewhat fair. What I don't understand is how that happened when so many people had voted by last week of polling.
These should have been quasi exit polls? The MOE should have been way smaller?
@NateSilver538@NateSilver538 can you explain why the latest polls are showing margins of error of the same magnitude as September?
In most Oct polls about half of the people sampled have already voted. That's a quasi exit poll? The error margin should be much smaller...?
@NateSilver538@NateSilver538 talking of things working against trump what's your take on Texas? Now at over 70% of 2016 turnout and it's only October 23rd.
Surely the idea of a 60-75% turnout scenario in Texas has to be taken seriously now? Nothing makes me think that's good for Trump...
Of course unusual circumstances, but could nearing 50% of 2016 election voter turnout on October 19 be an indication of a v high upcoming turnout in Texas?
My key questions: do we know how those 2m new voters lean? In a 65-70% turnout scenario what happens to Biden's chances?
@NateSilver538 Biden up +8. I would have expected that to shift the model slightly more than it has. Assuming it's been updated it's only shifted the dial from 69/31 to 70/30.
