“Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Jagaban, has been my inspiration in the fight to sustain and deepen democracy in Nigeria. I want to single him out to pay a special tribute for his contributions.” - Alhaji Atiku Abubakar #ThrowBack
Tinubu:
“Even Atiku, who makes so much noise today, met me in politics at a time when he had only just retired from the Customs Service and entered partisan politics under the tutelage of Shehu Musa Yar’Adua.
I was already one of Yar’Adua’s trusted and brightest political minds within the hierarchy of the party. I understood the machinery of politics, the people, and the terrain long before Atiku found his footing.”
First, he introduced the State Police, which has now been passed by both chambers of the National Assembly. Then he expanded the Nigerian Army from the current eight Divisions to twelve Divisions. The additional 4 divisions will increase Nigerian Army personnel by 28,000 troops.
This is in addition to the planned introduction of 139,000 Forest Guards to police Nigeria's forests and woodlands, where bandits often hide. Of this number, almost 10,000 have already been deployed.
This is the most far-reaching reform of Nigeria's national security architecture since the Nigerian Civil War. It shows that His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, is a steady and effective hand who is committed to the security of life and property of all Nigerians and foreigners resident in Nigeria, as well as the supremacy of the rule of law and the assurance of law and order in Nigeria.
As a Nigerian citizen, this should make you more confident in your government. Insecurity is easing, and with these new improvements by the President, the Federal Republic of Nigeria will definitely win the war on terror.
A progressive-minded person like me should belong to a progressive family, therefore, when APC come to me, I discovered that was my group and that I was in the wrong party, called PDP. So, I took my exit early and joined the progressives.
- Senate President, Senator Akpabio
Morayo: The average Nigerian youth doesn’t see the growth the Government claims is happening in the economy. Where is the growth? How can it be felt and measured?

“David Mark was Senate President for 8 years uninterrupted but he couldn’t facilitate the construction of road to his village from Makurdi to Akwanga, he was always traveling with helicopter. How many people can afford helicopter? But today, the government of Tinubu has constructed the road under 3 years. If someone is doing well, even if the person is your enemy, tell him he’s doing well….”
