Facing a small database dilemma while building Jots (https://t.co/lZoeogSFlc) - should I go SwiftData + CloudKit (what I am currently doing) or something like Firebase/Supabase? #Swift #iosdev

I am also worried that Firebase and similar can lead to slightly jarring experience, hosting costs, or privacy/compliance concerns.

It’s early days to have a clear objective on whether I’ll need cross-platform support or collaborative support. But I know this decision will be difficult to revert down the line.
