With my last tweet I would like to thank all of Group 1 for the fun and interesting conversations we had these past few months. I won't lie and say I'm sad it's ending, but I will definitely miss hearing all of your stories and opinions. Thanks

I can't be the only person extremely stressed over this last week of Women's Studies right? The paper and the final exam will be the deciding factor on if my grade jumps to an A or plummets. Good Luck All.

The under representation of minority groups and women in political positions is really concerning. Having the same old white men in office will not fully represent the masses. Obviously put your views first, but consider voting for groups with less of a voice.

"Age"?
"Twenty-one."
"Height?"
"Five nine."
"Weight?"
"Ninety-nine."
This quote is really crazy to me. How can you live being 5'9" and less than 100 lbs? Anorexia is nothing to scoff about.

@S_Darcas Pretty crazy to see the heteropatriarchy live in action. These poor kids now can't find a home because of the discrimination by the Texas government. Really Sad.

@connorallison62 Yea, asthma can become a big deal if not properly treated. I was on a breathing machine and even nearly collapsed my lung because of my active lifestyle combined with childhood asthma.

The story in this week's article about a man explaining Rebecca Solnit's book to Rebecca Solnit is pretty comical. How are you going to explain a book to the author. I wouldn't try to explain Harry Potter to J.K. Rowling. #WMST1006#wmstmil
@R_avocado1 Most of the time, I feel the man doesn't intentionally do it. However, it is done nonetheless and is in fact embarrassing for the woman in the situation. #WMST1006#wmstmil
"Man is not an inferior woman. Woman is not an inferior man." This is a quote that should be stapled across the country. Nobody is superior to another. #WMST1006#wmstmil
It might be irrelevant to the whole story... But the book states that Nelson's mom would change the news if a woman was reporting the weather because men "usually have the more accurate forecast." What? I hope people still don't think like this #wmstn3l#WMST1006
One thing I found really interesting in "The Argonauts" was the paragraph about step parents. Step parents really don't get enough credit for all they do. Filling in the role of a parent isn't easy by any means and step parents should be appreciated much more.

Another transgender woman to add to the statistics. I wonder if this case specifically had anything to do with her being transgender.

Very interesting read considering we were talking about birth certificate identities in class recently. Personally, I believe you should be able to change it. I mean it is your life, why should anybody else have a say in it?

@yukiko_horiuchi It's worse when the pregnant woman turns into a terrible mother. Some people don't deserve children... Unfortunately, we can't decide who is fertile and not. The only thing we can do is hope that those who deserve children are biologically able to conceive.

@connorallison62 I thought I was the only one that really understood the magnitude of this when reading. It really makes me appreciate my mom more and respect all of those who endure the stressful 9 month cycle that is pregnancy more. #wmst1006#wmstn3l

Personally, I don't know how you can be a full on conservative and claim to be a feminist. If you are not fully committed to the conservative ideals, then maybe. But a main theory of conservatives is against Roe v. Wade, which is key for Women's bodies.
