Two new rules for MMA fighters have just been approved:
1. If an accidental foul results in a cut, cutmen/cutwomen are now allowed to enter the ring and treat the wound
2. During an eye poke, fighters are given a cold compress to use for 60/90 seconds before doctors come in to check the eye, allowing recovery time
@mmamania Wait a minute, so Sean can evoke his thoughts on women's rights and civil rights but I can't call this stupid because Twitter will ban me? Ok, that makes sense.
@CodyRhodes If part of the dream to make it to the top was to inspire kids (people) to be the best they can be and dream big, then @CodyRhodes mission accomplished. You are hero to this little guy and he loves his American Nightmare Birthday card! Thanks for all you do.
Ain't this some BS. A week after I go and get my eyeballs sliced and diced, they finally come up with
these super lenses for near and far. Son of a.... 🤬
Something to say about nerdcore/hip hop
Some people may not know this about me but I am a HUGE movie buff. Something about capturing a performance that moves people is something that just hits me.
I also love hip hop and grew up in a studio with two parents who loved music. It’s always been a part of my life.
When I found that I could link my two passions of music and performance it changed my life. Yea I didn’t have a stage but I had a mic and I could shape my own interpretation of the character using my own words and voice.
It started it before I knew there was an opportunity to turn this into a career. And that there were other people who shared this same meld of passions.
For me hip hop is being true to yourself and letting people in to the world of what you love and are passionate about through words. It’s telling stories, it’s making people feel powerful and seen. It’s a release of creativity and freedom. I have given my own health because I respect what hip hop is to me to much to phone it in.
I see what I do as an extension of the movies, stories and characters we love so much. If nerdcore doesn’t have a place then neither do the stories that inspired them as well…But we know that’s not true.
I say this to say, if you are giving your all to something you love then never let anyone tell you this it is inconsequential how you interpret that love. Because the minute you bend to become a vision of something you are not, you lose your authenticity. And that’s not very hip hop if you ask me
