#OUB329@opentutor2 Wk 16 - I found the way that technology helped precarious leaders to be able to work and spread support for their campaigns interesting. It’s removed many barriers and allows for real time communication to be made has helped to spread messages and gain support
#OUB329 Wk15- I enjoyed looking at resistant leadership, and gaining the understanding that it can be viewed both positively and negatively. But also how if done correctly and uniformly across an organisation or department can have great success for the issues workers experience.
#OUB329 Wk 15- this week we looked at different types of problems in the world. I found the wicked problems interesting. This got me considering how even today we are still facing many wicked problems And how technology is going to bring more wicked problems in the near future
#OUB329 wk12 - leadership involves playing games to to get results. The results can be positive, negative or zero wins for the employees, organisations or their collaboratives. Different leadership styles will achieve different results. This places unnecessary strains on leaders
#OUB329 wk10. Has made me realise the importance of building relationships within my team. I do this well with my client’s but feel I could improve on this area. This is due to the amount of autonomy within education and distance between staff within the pastoral system.
#OUB329 Wk8 - I learnt that I have the skills of a good leader with a supporting mentality. It has allowed me to consider different leadership styles. I can see that I am well experienced in #adaptiveleadership practices. This is beneficial in a multicultural education setting.
#OUB329 wk7 also helped me to understand that how we see our leadership selves is most likely very different to how others perceive us. When we are finding leadership difficult it is important to take an inward view to see how we can change to allow progression in our team.
