BREAKING: Jason Billingsley sentenced to life in prison after pleading guilty to the murder of Pava LaPere in Baltimore last September. On Monday he was given two life sentences for the attempted murders that took place just days before LaPere’s murder.
Addressing the judge, Billingsley said he takes full accountability and sincerely apologizes to the family but knows “nothing I say can make her family feel better.”
Before sentencing judge said, “I try not to judge people by their worst acts but nobody in any community will be safe while you are free.”
