They have recieved an email from council saying they need to send over all info regarding pension, other benefits which is just what OAP's can claim and my mums account within 7 days. If they fail all benefits will stop. Could you shed some light on this please?

1/2 Im hoping you can help. My mum is self-employed and her husband is claiming his pension. She tried to claim for universal credits however received a phone call saying if she continues with this then her husbands benefits are at threat and possibly stopped..

@MartinSLewis my mum is self-employed and has recieved a letter telling her to self isolate due to poor health. The only income they have is my step dads pension. What is the best thing for my mum to apply for to get some financial help. Thanks x

@Avon_UK this is a disgusting way to work. Denying the returns and wanting to rep to pay off the balance!!! WOW!! Avon you are despicable, unhelpful and disrespectful is many differnt ways!!

@Avon_UK I have tried to resolve it on the phone, with the lady telling me it never got sent to a debt collecting (that's why no letter) and that they still want me to pay the balance after denying the returns.

@Avon_UK I explained the situation again and you told me that you would pass it onto a debt collecting agency, I waited for that letter and nothing. I kept hold of the items for over a year and then threw them out. I have not check my credit score and it's avon causing my issues.

@Avon_UK wow.... terrible treatment by yourselves. U once was a rep 2 years ago, went through a terrible time and was a week late in applying for some credits to return items so you denied them returns after I had explain everything and wanted me to pay the money for the items...
