A student once explained how wild pigs are trapped:

First, they are given free corn in the forest.
They return every day for the easy food.

Free rations. Free electricity. Free cash transfers. Endless subsidies. Political promises of “something for nothing.”
Each may appear harmless in isolation. But over time, citizens begin depending more on the State than on their own enterprise, effort and initiative.

And when dependence grows, freedom quietly shrinks.

A nation becomes truly strong not when more people vote for benefits, but when more people create, build, innovate and contribute.

There is no free lunch.
Someone always pays the bill.
And sometimes, the hidden cost is freedom itself.

@kushanmitra @HyundaiIndia CR-V, RAV4 can only be introduced at this price point if manufactured in India. If imported, these vehicles would easily be priced north of 50Lakhs. Both these cars (+Mazda CX50) are absolutely best in class and I feel would be very well received by the Indian market.

Shri Pandurang Balkavade, Secretary of the Bharat Itihas Sanshodhak Mandal Pune found documents that show Lokmanya Tilak’s close association with the Shivchhatrapati jayanti utsav and construction of his samadhi at Raigad fort. Some people, namely; Govind Marathe, Bhau Bhide, Ganesh Patwardhan and Gangadhar pant Vidwans from Bhor accompanied Tilak for the second birth anniversary celebration on Raigad fort in the year 1900.

The British Govt ordered an enquiry in this regard and the Sachiv of Bhor had to furnish a police report about the party that went to Raigad..

This is one of the reasons Tilak was Lokmanya.

🔸 LIGO‑India Construction Begins in Hingoli – Target Completion: April 2030

🔹 Project Launch
Construction of the Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory (LIGO-India) will begin in Aundha village, Hingoli (Maharashtra) in the second half of 2025, with commissioning targeted by April 2030.

🔹 Major Tender Released
The Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) has floated the first major EPC tender, covering civil infrastructure and vacuum system works.

🔹 Construction Timeline
Work will commence after the EPC contract finalization, expected by late 2025.

🔹 Global Collaboration 🌍
India’s third advanced LIGO detector will complement two U.S.-based observatories, enhancing the global gravitational wave detection network.
It’s a mega-science initiative by DAE & DST, with execution by RRCAT, IUCAA, IPR, DCSEM, and technical collaboration with MIT & Caltech.

🔹 Cutting-Edge Infrastructure
LIGO-India will have a central station with two perpendicular 4 km vacuum-arm interferometers, similar to the U.S. design—built to detect gravitational waves from cosmic events.

🔹 Team & Documentation
Indian scientists have completed key documents:
✔️ Design Basis Report (DBR)
✔️ Science Requirements Document (SRD)
Engineers and researchers are also undergoing specialized training in the U.S..

🔸A 2.45 km approach road (12.5 m wide) connects to the Nanded–Akola Highway

@streetfrontier Thanks for putting it out! Finally found someone who very comprehensively advocated for e-buses. E-City Buses should be logical first step to electrification/moving to cleaner energy source for transport...like you even I don't understand why the gov is after personal mobility
