A trans activist has avoided prison after threatening to murder Congresswoman @NancyMace.

Samuel “Roxie” Cain was first arrested in May 2025 after he posted to X: “I’M GOING TO ASSASSINATE REPRESENTATIVE NANCY MACE WITH A GUN AND I’M BEING 100% DEAD ASS.”

Yesterday, Cain was sentenced to five years, suspended to 30 months of house arrest.

Cain is subject to a number of conditions, including a permanent restraining order barring him from having any contact with Congresswoman Mace and her family.

He also has to undergo a psychiatric evaluation and comply with treatment plans, must wear a GPS monitor at all times, and must apply to at least 3 jobs per week until he is gainfully employed.
