🚨 Warning for every European-based streamer that planned to do a Shanghai Major Watchparty! 🚨

We have just been informed by @pglesports that everyone planning to do a watchparty of the mainstream is now required to place graphics of the event-sponsors under their personal stream.

While most partners are not worrisome at all, 1xBet poses a problem as promoting the website (which is banned and not accessible in many european countries for not having the mandatory gambling licenses) might be against standing law and could get every individual doing so into serious legal trouble. (And therefore possibly against Twitch TOS, too)

Upon asking if it would be okay to leave out this sponsor, we got the reply that it's not possible and we'd only be able to resort to casting via the public CSTV.

In all previous majors this has never been asked by any event organizer and it's very sad that so many people might not be able to enjoy watchparties because of this new regulation. Make sure to @ your favourite streamers to make sure the word gets spread.
