@boomshootart *Specifically talking about the clones of the games you mentioned, the originals have their own (mostly) unique style that have been captivating enough to want to be copied.
@boomshootart Realistically I think the only major problem with these types of games is that you can be pretty independent with your art direction and not have flashing text and bright colors every 5 seconds. As long as you have quakelike movement and guns you're already 50% there.
