3) Moving him to the 4, imo his best position giving him better looks offensively
4) Trading for a PG and a 3&D to start at SF, to lessen the defensive load on him

@AlNotino @alec_lewis Tbf he averaged 4.8 YPC this past season without ever having a healthy OL, and 5.1 YPC for his career. He can’t block to save his life but as a pure runner that’s elite efficiency

Overall, Allen, Murphy, Rodgers were spot on. Hargrave and Fries weren’t way off but not as good as I thought. Kelly and Jones would’ve been spot on if they could stay healthy

Another angle that nobody has mentioned about our QB is if McCarthy isn’t the guy by the end of next season, he could still lead us to the next rookie that is. That’s always going to be better than the Cousins/Darnold/Mac and Daniel Jones route

When Smith retires he’ll be way better, CD and JJ leaving is just doomthinking. 9.5/10 times players follow the money. Look at Myles Garrett, Joe Thomas, Megatron

@Pie_in_a_can Not necessarily, but a reload fs. It at least gives JJ a chance to see what he’s got, and with a high pick this year we can still take a DT, S and C to hopefully sit behind Kelly for a year. Extending Wilson short term gives us at least one good LB and Redmond as a long term DT
