@EckhartsLadder The rebellion was a guerrilla fighting force. it’s why their bases are on such remote worlds (Yavin and Hoth are the prime examples for the movies) and even then they are made to be able to leave in a hurry. They don’t have the manpower or the resources to hold worlds smh
@phvntomist Okay this is my time to shine:
Opeth
Dream Theater is a staple of the genre
Queensryche
Devin Townsend
Haken
Trivium
Periphery
Coheed and Cambria
Liquid Tension Experiment if you like instrumentals
Porcupine Tree
Symphony X
@EckhartsLadder Calling you a dick rider for wanting more from a franchise that has a massive universe to make original content is wild. One of the most absurd, but fun things to come from diverging from continuity was The Force Unleashed games.
@EckhartsLadder I do feel like Dune Messiah is a kind of mark of what the rest of the series is like. Less galaxy spanning adventures and more about localized character interactions/development and political intrigue centered on one place.
To celebrate the start of set 17 I will be giving away 5 chibi xayah codes thanks to RIOT GAMES!

@TheKavernacle I can definitely see that point of view. I’ve always read Herbert as advocating mistrust of the government, not hatred. Ideally, the government should serve the people’s best interest but in our current system it very much doesn’t which is what I read Dune as expressing.
