Two big wins for the Thun Tigers on Sunday. U16 defeats the Geneva Seahawks and the "Erste Mannschaft" defeats the Whoppers! Great day for the Tigers!

Hopped on the train today - two hour ride to Winterthur to see my friend Chris. He is one of the up and coming young football coaches in Switzerland. What a great time visiting over lunch (hmmm also beers!) Love being able to see my friends here in the Alps!

My pal Ruedi took me on a walk around Faulensee, Switzerland this morning with his friend Ulrich. Two smart guys talking to a broken down football coach. Go figure, What a great way to start a beautiful day. People pay to go to Switzerland-me I am a guest! Hah, what a life!

Well tonite friends Nadia and Timo take me out to fantastic dinner. Whip around Lake Thun - up a one lane mountain road - two way traffic (forget it - no roads similar in US) Scenery- sunset - fabulous visit, conversation. No wonder I am the "Second luckiest man in the world

Two practices with the Thun Tigers for me here in Switzerland. First the U-16 club. Coached by players from the Seniors team - Renato, Nic, Simon, Lucas and Daniel. They do a great job with the youngsters. #Thuntigers #Konkretekidinfootball.com

The "Erste Mannschaft" practice followed the U-16 practice. Several Junior players took part as well. Then typical lively and aggressive practice by the "troops." A solid team with great leadership and camaraderie! Go Tigers. #Thuntigers

Tun Tigers U-19 stands at 4-2 with win in Biel/Bienna over the Jets. To win we recover an onside kick at the end. Tigers prevailed! Back in the playoff hunt. Now enter long summer recess due to Summer Holidays in Switzerland. Back at it on August 28 against Bern Grizzlies.

Shots from past couple of weeks here in Switzerland - I'll start in reverse. Here are some pics from Montreux which I visited a week ago. Interesting place. Jazz Festival, Statue of Freddy Mercury, The "Swiss" Riviera. Lake Geneva and the Alps. What more could you ask for??
