@Iromg Mike, the response from Essex Police is lamentable, in demonstrations they work on Gold/Silver/Bronze hierarchy. Sgts are normally bronze commanders on the ground, they would not have made that decision without agreement by Silver or Gold command. Which Silver or gold commander?
