But how to pick a niche? How to pick topics? What about packaging - the thumbnail and title that make someone click?

Those basics come before any tool.

But the knowledge, the systems, knowing what actually works - no one takes that. You can rebuilt faster each time.

The channel was never the real asset, it's you & experience and knowledge you got from doing it.

Elevator analogy is clean but elevators replaced a mechanical task. Content doesn't work the same way.

Stock photography is closer. When it got cheap, everyone said photographers were done. What actually happened? Commodity work collapsed. Premium work got more valuable because the gap became impossible to ignore.

AI flooding the platform doesn't kill creators who understand packaging, retention, and audience. It just makes the difference between low-effort and high-effort more obvious, making it far harder to compete with content that's easily replicable and has nothing unique about it.

You can't design your way out of a bad concept. No budget fixes that.
