@paramountplus why is it that we as subscribers always have to wait 1-2 years for @MTV @VH1 @BET content? What is the point of @paramountco owning/partnering with those three networks of entire and current seasons aren’t released before new seasons of shows begin?

Also, talent is important. If you can’t sing LIVE, have no stage presence, and can’t find any crowd pleasing energy or have some skills in songwriting and have no Ear for Music…don’t sing R&B.

R&B hasn’t gone anywhere, but we do need more “I feel so safe with you” R&B, more “it’s just a really nice day out & I’m happy” R&B. More “play this at the wedding reception” R&B. Just more celebratory tunes in general. Joy R&B, if you will.

R&B is so much bigger than “fuck my ex” music. Again, nothing wrong with those songs, but I think what’s really missing from R&B is the complexity of love & life being at the core of it. So what people say is dead about R&B isn’t the sound, but the feeling.
