Couldn't agree more. If he is determined to go to United and only United. He should stand his ground. But if he is willing to join Spurs, then that doesnt say much about his ambition and mentality. Wanting to leave a relegated club for another that should have been relegated.
Sesko rejected more money from Newcastle to join us. Mbeumo rejected Tottenham and Liverpool to join us, and Cunha only wanted us.
I'm sorry, but if Mateus Fernandes has opened the door to joining Spurs because they've offered more money, then his mentality should be questioned.
🚨 Manchester United is the most special club in the world!
Just look at the emotion from Casemiro’s wife Anna when talking about Manchester United. 🥺❤️
[@UtdKev08]
Imagine if we could have more like Casemiro. Hopefully alot of the younger players learned from him what it is to play for the shirt and the supporters. What a guy 👏👏🙌🫶
This is nothing new. All this is driven by West Ham and its simply to keep the price up. If the player has stated he only wants United. Then this is a repeat of Cunha and Mbeumo. If he is open to joining multiple clubs. Then let him go. United only or nothing.
There are so many reasons this price isn't coming down, United have to shit or get off the pot on this one. Spurs are definitely a club that will just bid the 80m whether its a good idea or not. And that'll keep the price high.
The Premier League is planning to launch its own Netflix-style streaming platform that would broadcast every single game live.
The proposed subscription would cost £10 a month and be available across 188 countries. For context, fans currently pay an average of £76 a month if they subscribe to Sky, TNT, and Amazon to watch Premier League football.
If it happens, it would be one of the most significant shifts in football broadcasting in decades.
You guys were all my heroes last week, and you’re all my heroes tonight. Thanks for an amazing season. We’re the Champions of England and very nearly Europe too. ❤️
Hard to encourage this but you also have to understand why. Keane, Neville, Butt, Scholes along with more ex-united players should all be ashamed of themselves. They use the club as a platform for personal gain. The more negative the criticism, the greater the audience. Shameful
This from a guy who got all the help he could have gotten from @ManUtd Just like @Sanchooo10 brought it all on himself. But can only cope by blaming others for their downfall.
Marcus Rashford via Instagram:
“Special thanks to Unai, Hansi, Thomas, Aston Villa, Barcelona & England for believing in me when things got tough. ❤️”
Technically, he is still a United player, and the club still pays part of his wages, yet there is no mention of United here.
Unbelievable that some fans still want this player back at the club.
This shows further proof that @Carra23 is truly a monumental 🔔🔚 Liverpool won one of the worst titles in PL history last season. It was simply down to one factor. The rest were rubbish. Liverpool were bang average and that was highlighted in the worst title defence in history.
🚨 Jamie Carragher: “Manchester United were lucky this season. If we're being honest, their style of play hasn’t been convincing enough.”
“The only reason they made the top four is because clubs like Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham were inconsistent for long periods.”
“People keep saying Bruno Fernandes is the best player, but football is about winning the biggest trophies. Getting 20 assists is good, but that alone doesn’t make you the best when others are fighting for the Premier League title and Champions League.”
“Football fans need to stop being sentimental and start being realistic, so the next generation can understand what true greatness really means.”
🚨🗣️ @TelegraphDucker on why Bruno deserves the Footballer of the Year award:
“Neither [Arsenal or Man City] have featured a player who feels like he has consistently stood head and shoulders above the rest, who has routinely got pulses racing and hearts beating and for whom a team might have been LOST – or vastly inferior – without HIM.
“There have been moments of brilliance from [Rice, Gabriel, Raya, Haaland, Semenyo, and Bernardo Silva] but, in the main, they have felt like vital parts of the machinery rather than transcendent individuals, this season specifically.
“But with Fernandes, United have had a player who has often BENT games to his own WILL. A player who has routinely dragged a mediocre team over the finishing line.
“A player who spent half the season being played out of position in a system that largely confounded his team-mates yet still found a plentiful supply of solutions.” #MUFC [@TeleFootball]
Safe to say @SamJDean struggles with the concept of football. How it how it's about the big picture. Not the narrative you choose most likely because Rice is English (Actually Irish🇮🇪) Bruno's efforts, under (at times) incredibly difficult circumstances has been second to none.
With respect to my colleagues in the football writing industry, I am stunned that Bruno Fernandes has been named FWA Footballer of the Year instead of Declan Rice. Rice has literally won more matches this season (35) than Fernandes has even played (34).
