Shai Gilgeous-Alexander says Russell Westbrook is just a “phone call away” if he ever needs anything.
“We started off in the same agency, so that’s when the relationship was first built. He's honestly just like a great human despite what people have said about him. Russ is amazing. He's always been a phone call away if I needed something, if I needed to bounce something off of him, if I needed some advice, like he's the real deal. He's an A+ human. A+ basketball player. Like, it doesn't get better than Russ. That's my guy and he had a great career and sad to see him go.”

Te entiendo perfectamente y sé que todo lo relacionado con la familia nos hace replantearnos las cosas... Disfruta de la vida, hermano. Te deseo lo mejor, hoy y siempre
I asked Shai Gilgeous-Alexander about his reaction to Russell Westbrook retiring and their relationship.
“He's as dynamic as it comes in terms of NBA player, personality, teammate, like he's the whole package. Laid the foundation for what we stand on now. Like, part of the reason why the city is what it is is because of Russell Westbrook. He deserves all of his flowers for what he's done on and off the court.”
SGA on Russell Westbrook: “Russ is like Oklahoma's baby, so I don't think there'll ever be another. He was their first guy. You feel him in the streets. Russ is everywhere. He’s a pioneer for what we stand on.”
Recuerda, pobre de mierda, que eres el culpable del calentamiento global por tener un coche tan viejo y querer poner tu casa, que pagas a duras penas , a una temperatura agradable.
SGA on Dort, Joe, Wiggins leaving: “I was saying to somebody yesterday that it feels like they're not even like gone… Those guys are forever be one call away from me, and vice versa.”
SGA on Chet Holmgren:
“Chet’s a really really really good basketball.
Basketball is like life, there’s ups and downs…
I expect Chet to continue to get better as he’s done his whole career.”
SGA says Chet is a cornerstone of their team and what makes the team successful.
