bloXmove Nigeria - Launch Update 🚘

As the people that follow us closely know, we recently launched our bloXmoveNG app again in Nigeria.

Since then, we promised to give you updates on the progress and the next steps. Which we will now present!

Smart Mobility Integrated Services, our franchise partner, has had a tough time launching since the end of October, first due to regional power outages, affecting 17 out of the 19 Northern states, then due to national grid power outages over the last days.

However, the current power outage issues did not stop them. On the contrary! The fighting spirit is there and they managed to onboard over 200 passengers over the last week. This is achieved despite people struggling to get power & saving their battery life due to the current uncertainty that has been lasting for weeks now.

There were over 30 drivers interested during their first visit to Yola and yesterday they travelled from Jos to Yola again, for a prolonged stay and to fully onboard these & more drivers!

Marketing efforts are taking off now too and these first 200 passengers were onboarded by smart offers to people attending events and celebrations. So far, this was just the 1st event. This strategy has only just started🎉

In the coming weeks, we will present these & more numbers via graphs, showing the traction Smart Mobility Integrated Services (our Franchise takers) is achieving in the number of onboarded drivers, passengers and rides!

Passenger App approval

The next step towards our franchise operation has been completed!

We are proud to say that the passenger app has been approved in the Google Play Store as well.

While the first drivers are coming in and registering, everything is now ready for the go-live! As soon as our franchise takers achieved critical mass with regards to the drivers, they will kick off operations in Nigeria! 🇳🇬
