BREAKING: Israel is now bombing Syria, Gaza and South Lebanon.

Only Israel can bomb 3 different countries in a single day while screaming ‘victim’ at the same time.

And by then it will be too late. I am fucking devastated for the state of the world and everyone that is suffering. I am disgusted by our willingness to sit back and cheer it on, fueled by our own guilt from our own history.

This is an asymmetrical war. Palestinians have no real allies, no weapons, no international support and are physically barricaded. It is slaughter. Palestinians ≠ Hamas just as Israel ≠ jews. We will look back on this and see genocide, just as we do now with the 1940s.

[Omar El Akkad @omarelakkad]

One day, when it's safe, when there's no personal downside to calling a thing what it is, when it's too late to hold anyone accountable, everyone will have always been against this.

[Don_rosa @Don_rosa1]

@Arstan1996 Agreed, it was 100% the best decision both for management and for the moderators/helpers. The roles required dedication to the guidelines/doing a /job/ which IMO again requires payment. Volunteers cannot expected to put in that much work, hence they didn't.

This week, Chile announced a proposed new constitution written by a democratically elected convention, and it is likely the most legitimate constitution in the world, as it is written boldly in the context of the climate crisis. A 🧵on its inspiring climate provisions.

NTA, girls are amazing.

Vanessa Nakate is a prominent climate change activist who believes passionately in speaking about the consequences for Africa - her continent.
You'd think that after this famous incident, media would be more careful.

Nope.

Let me show you how unconscious bias works.

@HanesandMagnus Det er også en mulighet å være harry i Trondheim

[Don_rosa @Don_rosa1]

@CookieBillyMC Yeah, I see that. It just seems in my view to be a choice to keep up with demand, and I much prefer it to a team that is in a weird place in the middle between keeping the image of a "big happy family" staff team and being an actual company.

[Don_rosa @Don_rosa1]

@CookieBillyMC corporate-ish and professional management focused on keeping up with rules/order on the server and leaving community events and such to the actual community.

[Don_rosa @Don_rosa1]

@CookieBillyMC Hmm yeah I'm talking about further back than that - but I'll try to keep an eye out for your thread. In general I think the 2016/17 era was a staff team that was both unprofessional and alien to the playerbase, and now it seems they are making a full step towards a more 1/2

its been a year since george floyd died and so many people bled and lost eyes and marched with such passion and some small victories were achieved and yet the systemic cruelties for the most part remain intact and so do the propaganda systems that uphold them

[Cori Bush @CoriBush]

Talk about George Floyd's life.

Talk about his family.

Talk about his loved ones.

Talk about the systems of oppression he overcame.

Talk about all the joy he brought those who knew him.

Talk about how badly he wanted to live.

Talk about how he deserved to live.
