Doña Ana County District Attorney Fernando R. Macias announces that Jacob Gonzales has been sentenced to a 49-year prison sentence, after being convicted of first-degree kidnapping and multiple related charges stemming from a violent attack on his ex-girlfriend.
District Attorney Fernando R. Macias announces the successful sentencing of Emily Portillo, who was convicted with the tragic death of Roy Parra resulting from a homicide by vehicle. Portillo was sentenced to serve 7 years in the New Mexico Department of Corrections.
