@RTEsport Lovely cosy interview.
Kinda missed the obvious question as to why spectators standing behind ropes at a designated walkway deserved to be hit though.
@daveyhannigan Hi Dave, I just finished reading 15 Rounds In The Wilderness, and just wanted to say how much I enjoyed it. A fantastic story, brilliantly told. It’s quite a rollercoaster of emotions.
We Need To Talk About Roy is next on my list.
@BrodyAMiller That’s fair, we were spoiled for a good run!
Nothing but admiration for how Rai and Fox seized their opportunities on the back 9 of their wins.
@BrodyAMiller Any thoughts on why the guys, who are supposed to be the guys are not delivering on the big stage? Too comfortable in their signature event dollar collecting world maybe?
@gcooney93 An absolute disaster. WH Smith in the airport is the only place I’ve heard of anyone getting it.
I’ve had to get the digital edition, just not the same.
@RebelDevil71@IRYOfficial Tremendous work as always Daragh, can’t begin to imagine the amount of work that does into it every year, and you’ve delivered another brilliant edition.
@PaulTreyvaud Hi Paul,
I was only reading Dave Hannigan’s excellent book The Big Fight on the topic recently and came across the name! I assumed given the profession and surname he must have been a relation.
@stephenhunt1010@mcginleygolf@GolfIreland_@DanielHussey2 I just felt it was quite bad manners Stephen, given it was obviously an x post with the original poster created out.
I realise I might not be everyone’s cup of tea for saying it.
@JohnFogartyIrl Also it’s 1/20 v 9/1 against 4/11 v 5/2.
Whether 3rd place teams should be going any further is a debate for another day, but ultimately it is a game with more meaning.
@JohnFogartyIrl Close to a knock out, and actual knock out are very different things! When we finally have games with actual jeopardy I think it makes sense to show them! But sure as we see with these debates on a weekly basis, always someone disappointed!
