Today I called the Social Security office to get another copy of Bette's 1099 which had not arrived. I was told I had to wait 3 hours to get a human. I tried to do it online and couldn't unless I could live video Bette's face, which five months post burial would not be recognized by the system.
The GOP has already broken Social Security. Today it fired the top staff at NIH and CDC to return us to when medicine could not cure viruses.
I let my congressman know how unhappy I am. You should too when you find fundamental services for your family are gone too.

My heavens. There are no facts in this piece but just conspiracy notions. Possiblies. Maybes. Couldabees. I only consider plausible and probable in my world and based on verifiable info. Like when i go to a doctor. What pleasure do these people get from imagining this stuff? Beats me.

Make sure to vote.

To my republican friends I ask them only to consider this question:

Do you apply the same criterion to select a politician who run the country as your doctor.

If not, why not?

That is, if you had heart condition, as do I,would you engage a doctor who :

didn’t do what he said he’d do for you before to help you,

exaggerated or made up therapies he wished were true, but the data said don’t work and are not true.

defrauded medicare for personal gain and was convicted of it,

Didnt apply NIH standards for your care but ad hoc invented his own.

didn’t pay his staff,

assaulted his nurses,

and spoke of some of his patients with obscenities in public.

I would not use such a doctor, and nor will I support any politician who by analogy, has the same behavior.

Running the country is more important than fixing my heart.
