The government of Zimbabwe is spearheading the construction of a 560 hectare eco-resort town ~ 4.5km from the Tugwi Mukosi Dam.
This will include a golf course, lodges, hotels, botanical gardens & wildlife buffer zones.
The Competition and Tariff Commission (CTC) is seeking public comments on CBZ’s plan to take a 17.5% stake in Dokuma, the software firm with the Govt tender to digitise the Deeds Office.
The deal ties into CBZ’s strong role in land. Through CBZ Agro-Yield, the country’s biggest bank is already leading a programme to issue title deeds to resettled farmers.
Dokuma also says it is part of the Presidential Title Deed programme, “which aims to address the issue of informal settlements in Zimbabwe by urbanising them and issuing title deeds to their residents.”

I went to government owned schools exclusively. I always thought that my success would depend on my hard work, I was wrong. You need relationships. After high school , I became employed I started seeing the importance of having good relationships and having champions. A few weeks ago I was in a shop in Pretoria paying an order of R32 000, that client just said to me, you come highly recommended. He didn’t tell me who recommended me but was willing to send me $2 600 just like that. Whilst I was there I got a message from another lady I had quoted for some months ago.
I have never met her in person, she really pushed for me to get the job, secretly I was a bit scared because that order was too big. I didn’t get the job and I was still very grateful that she and her boss carried my name to some boardrooms that I will never be able to enter. I always see people writing here on social media saying they don’t care what people think about them, they are wrong, you must care what people think about you. Early 2006, I was almost 30, I had been a manager in Harare and after the merger they wanted a branch manager in Bulawayo, a very important position, a step from being an AGM. My boss asked me if I wanted to be considered for the role.
There was a robust discussion in the Exco, besides my boss, the Finance Director also supported my appointment and on 1 April 2006, I reported for duty in Bulawayo. May your name be mentioned in positive light wherever you are not present and in high places. I think it’s about how you carry yourself everyday and is also up to your creater. Definitely it’s not about you, it’s beyond you. It’s favour 🙏🏿

I have a once in a lifetime opportunity for those who want to buy a home. The greatest empowerment deal Zimbabwe has ever seen that will revolutionize property ownership. The targeted beneficiaries are my country men and women in the diaspora, local professionals, and the informal sector. A flexible scheme brought to you by TN CyberTech Bank and its partner Lucile Real Estate. We lead and others will certainly follow our example:
We have over 100 houses in Ruwa. They are on title deeds. We are selling them for a Cash Price of $75,000.00. But you don’t have to buy 💯 of the house. You can buy 40%, 50%, 60%, 70%, 80%, 90% or 100% of the house on a co- ownership arrangement with the Bank. For the percentage you can afford, the following are the terms:
1. the deposit is 10% of the Cash Price.
2. The interest rate is 18% per annum.
3. You can take occupancy on paying the deposit. If you are in the diaspora, you can immediately rent the house out. However, you only pay us rent for the percentage that you are not yet buying. For example, if you are buying 50% of the house for now, and if the rent is $500.00, you only pay us $250.00 for our 50%. You can use your $250 to reduce your monthly installment.
4. Once you have paid for your chosen percentage, we can obtain title deeds for you that reflect your share of the property as an undivided share. As a co- owner, you can sell your share, rent it out, or use it as security for loans.
5. You will have an option to buy us out (our percentage) on agreed credit terms and at an agreed price after the currency chance that was announced. This will help both you and us to transition to the new currency without either of us owing the other thereby eliminating potential disputes over exchange rates.
I will follow through with a post on the possible scenarios and possible installments. Feel free to ask questions on this great empowerment deal!!
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Country Representative in South Africa, Dr Max Gomera, reflected on global economic disparities, noting that while some parts of the world have driverless cars, many Africans still lack access to affordable cooking technology.
He emphasised the importance of solving basic African problems through technology, adding that the companies which focus on addressing Africa’s challenges are the ones that will ultimately succeed in Africa.
He answers the problem why Africa is behind technologically, and what needs to be done.

YOUR NEW CAR ISN'T NEW! This is one of the biggest fallacies when you import a vehicle. This car has been on the road for thousands of KMs....and, NO, the Japanese govt doesn't inspect such. This is carbon in the intake of a 2019 Mazda CX5 diesel, it's a normal thing...cont'd
