The idea that most people finish a project before starting another just blows my mind.
If I don't have a half dozen projects in progress, 12 windows open on the computer and music or a movie on in the background I feel weird. Anyone else?

Taking time to save time can seem counter-intuitive in the midst of frantic production, when time is at a premium. But it usually pays off in efficiency.

I usually have these little corner templates made from other builds, but it wasn't working for my specific needs.

Humming along on this leather, split-leg carpenters apron. I around it with,durable canvas, too. Mostly just attachment points and straps to do and it will be ready.
Nice oil-tanned leather.

Work continues apace on several projects including this custom tote. The lining is constructed, I just have to figure out the zipper and it will be basically done.
Also working on an interesting build for a photo shoot tommorrow.

Yesterday, I talked about challenging yourself. One of my biggest is time management and decisiveness in production.
Task: Design & create a custom satchel designed to carry a journal for an upcoming trip he was going on.. All in about a "day" or so.

Lots of tooling yesterday. These are some of the newer designs. Not to worry, I've got some of the ever-popular octo bags in progress, too.
So much to do before these items really take shape. Hard deadlines make that even more critical

Dyeing starts in earnest. I typically dye from lightest to darkest. This is just the first batch. And, yes, those are Airship Captains Log books in progress. Much more work to be done!
