🔧 Tomorrow, Sunday, 24 and Monday, 25 May 2026, engineering works will take place in the Barrhead and Maxwell Park areas, resulting in the closure of some lines.

⚠️ This will affect services between Glasgow Central and East Kilbride, Kilmarnock, and Newton, as well as Cathcart Circle services via Maxwell Park.

🚌 Services between Glasgow Central and East Kilbride / Kilmarnock will be replaced by buses. Newton services will be diverted via Mount Florida.

🚆✅ We're delighted to announce that we're able to resume our normal timetable from Glasgow Central High Level on Wednesday (25 March), after work was completed to reinstate the remaining platforms at the station.

ℹ️ Public safety is still the main priority so not all entrances and exits to the high level are open. An exclusion zone around the area worst affected by the fire is still in place so the entrances to the station on Gordon Street and Union Street will remain closed until further notice.

📱 We're advising customers to continue to check their journey before travelling as there may be some minor alterations to services due to some trains being out of position following the station closure.
