In 2025 we were contacted via our website by Woolton Madrid U14's Football Team with an ask for support procuring waterproof training jackets for the players. We were happy to help keep out the cold and rain during the autumn and winter training sessions and match days.

Huyton Jujitsu approached us. Like many clubs they were struggling to balance keeping members subs affordable and essential equipment like head guards, leg protectors, current up Your generosity enabled the club to replace their old worn out equipment and keep the subs affordable

In 2025 we helped two schools to achieve their goal of improving the learning experience.
New Heights unveiled a new
'Wonderland Retreat', a themed reading and wellbeing space.
Heygreen School is celebrated the opening of its new sensory room offering a safe and enriching space.

Also in 2025 Children’s Charity Merseyside supported Arnot St Mary's Primary School’s project to improve the playtime experience by funding new playground equipment.

FYI Addison's Disease is very rare. Just 8000 of us in the UK. We are kept alive artificially everyday

I take different steroids at different times to stay alive but sometimes we end up in resus

Due to how rare it is, many medics don't know what to do so we're raising awareness

CCM is incredibly proud to celebrate our 6th anniversary. During the past 6 years we have made a difference to the lives of over 25 individuals and organisations. None of this would have been possible without the commitment of the volunteers and the generosity of our supporters

One of the first young people that we were able to help was Sophie. Sophie's parents had struggled with adaptive bikes and stabilisers for sometime.
Children's Charity Merseyside were able to secure a trike that transformed Sophie's mobility.

In 2022 Altru Drama delivered a series of Drama Workshops at a number of schools. The workshops were funded by CCM covered wellbeing, mental health and year 6 drugs and alcohol awareness. The work enabled children in areas of low social mobility to learn through drama and theatre

Support continued to follow a sporting theme in 2024 with the provision of sports kits for Broad Oak Primary and St Marie's Primary. St Marie's resides in an area with significant social and economic pressures. The donation of the kit enabled the school to compete in competitions

In August 2024 @RayParr77211436 agreed to take up the position of ambassador for the charity. Ray had been a supporter of Children's Charity Merseyside since its inception and was honoured to take on the role. Ray is a keen golfer and enjoys a glass of good red wine.

In 2023 our focus was on helping Liverpool schools. @altrudrama delivered a on-line safety message to Wavertree Primary using drama. We supplied playground equipment to Mary & St Thomas @ArnotStMary We provided Kirkdale St Lawrence CE Primary with a football kit.

8 years ago today I was diagnosed with the very rare, life threatening condition Addison's Disease

I'm now kept alive artificially thanks to steroids (& some stubbornness!)

It's also a year to the day since my last close call with an Addison's crisis

Now I raise awareness ⬇️💜
