I was kidnapped and sexually assaulted for many years when I was 6 years old. My first boyfriend was 19 years old when I was 12 years old, no part of that relationship was consensual. I am not here to make fun of victims. I am shaming the incredibly vile behaviours I have seen over the years of working in this industry and I am shaming the people taking advantage of young victims who don’t know better. I am not naming names and I stand with every victim as I am a victim myself. I am simply taking back my power as a young girl that has been taken advantage of because she did not know better and I am talking about my own trauma. I genuinely meant no harm to victims but to perpetrators who we hear about so much. I am tired of people abusing their power just because they have “fame” and “money” and that’s why I decided to call them out today.
