Trans women will be banned from female-only hospital wards under changes being made to the NHS Constitution. Women will also be given the right to request female doctors for intimate care.

The NHS constitution, which is being updated by the Secretary of State for Health, will formally state: 'We are defining sex as biological sex.'

This was me as a 13 years old, short hair, fiercely competitive, training with the boys, climbing trees & not at all interested in dresses or make up. Certain people today would have been suggesting I was born in the wrong body and put me on drugs for the rest of my life which would have taken away my future, possibly shortened my life, made me sterile and ruined my body. I was born in my unique amazing female body. Three children later this is me. And I’m so grateful I was born when i was. I saw first hand the terrible damage testosterone did to female swimmers bodies. Puberty is not an illness…. Promoting narrow Stereotypes is utterly wicked.
