@CiaranFl4n4g4n Presume it's to get the wages off the books and give him a year to impress and hopefully get more for him.
I'd rather have him fully out, but this does at least salary and squad space.
Rodri #4?
@LaLigaMichael A player has to do whatever they can to maximise earnings. That's clear.
In this case, however, it might mean Ferran is no longer the best value-for-money option for FCB.
Then it's up to Deco/whoever to pick their poison.
I saw a post on Reddit that said that “The underlying purpose of AI is to allow wealth to access skill while removing from the skilled the ability to access wealth.” And I don’t think I’ve ever seen AI described so incisively.
Llevo tiempo con mariposas en el estómago con el Barça. Tengo la seria sensación de que esta será LA temporada. Veremos el peak de Flick, el peak de su proyecto y de su estilo. Y sí: será EL AÑO.
WE WILL BE THERE.

@muhammadbutt I understand your point, but unless both Casadó and Frenkie are going to be gone, I don't think another midfielder is the best use of the club money.
Giving Rodri a 4 or 5 Yr contract (presumably on big wages) is too big a risk. He's also on the way back from a serious injury
@muhammadbutt Bit late, but... The most impressive thing about the AG finish was that he didn't "just hit the target and it's fine".
He placed it. At speed, in a WC SF.
Bodes very well.
