Movement. We move our bodies to move the cattle who move the grasses by trampling & eating and that in turn moves the soils. The sun then transfers light energy to move the plants & soils some more so we can repeat again & again. How are you moving for your food?
I loved @DonigaWrites#DawnAgain, and read it late nights over the last two nights. I am craving a #Botanical Story of our area from this Amaaaaazing author, goddess, and rancher. I could not put her book down. Her writing style just hit my soul chord, and wowwed me. Thank you !
Dawn Again & Wolf Girl audiobooks are up! https://t.co/XsFn0coFKn During this time of shelter in place I have found myself listening to A LOT of audiobooks. I hope you enjoy them and share them with people who may need a little escape during these times. #audiobooks#findyourwild
"When I was immersed in nature I felt that my body was merely a collection of molecules joined with the particles of soil and all living things, no separation." @DonigaWrites from her book "Dawn Again Tracking The Wisdom of The Wild"
In her new memoir, “Wolf Girl: Finding Myself in the Wild,” Doniga Markegard describes her coming-of-age as a young environmentalist deeply influenced by wolf tracking, study, and conservation.

Here is a glimpse of our daily life on the ranch. I hope those of you who are homebound are getting a chance to move your bodies, get some fresh air and do what you need to stay healthy. What are you doing to keep you uplifted during this time?

Early morning walks during these times have been my meditation. I have always had a special relationship with the Douglas Iris. I am holding this image throughout the day as the bad news comes in daily of the spread of COVID-19. What are you doing during this time to find beauty?
