The oldest preserved #candles north of the Alps. They were made from beeswax around 1,400 years ago. Found in the early medieval burial site in Oberflacht. The damp environment preserved the candles in good condition.

Spent the day in Cambridge, negotiating foot space with tourists, locals, bikes, scooters and busses, so much going on there today, hitting all the senses in the solstice heat.
