What do you do in the time it can take for the claim to be paid out (especially in an accident), tell the children it's ok they can have something to eat next year

@deanrj_ @implausibleblog Pensioners have always paid tax if their income is over the tax free allowance. It's not something he will introduce. The state pension is below the current threshold, that's why they don't pay it, but anyone who has an additional income may do.

@thismorning One of the problems - nappies are made to leave child feeling dry no leaks - developed so much over the years. Being uncomfortable in a nappy was a huge incentive to most toddlers.

@kath_kirkwood @thismorning All children are different. My son was 2 Yr 9 mths. Decided he was using the potty - had a total of 3 accidents. Daughter was around 12-15 mths - she used to take her own nappy off. So started using potty, was 18 mths when she refused nappy at night.

@BartholomewJill @HVHadfield @thismorning Sadly, many families cannot afford for one parent to stay at home any more. So whilst one to one care would be great, a roof over their head and food on the table is also considered essential.

Once they did get the diagnosis-they had to process it. They had to tell family, and they had to find a way to tell their children FIRST.
