@CoalAuthority @turningland Personally over a year after the #skewenfloods im sick of seeing the colour, and so is my daughter, everytime someone clears something from their property we are still seeing it along our streets, yes thats right people are still clearing and repairing their homes a year on
@LisaWhit84@WayneBirch11@kellyb082@EmmaDawn1978@Natasha40080121 @RatedRyan18 It is, our homes are meant to be a place of comfort and relaxation, the whole community is on edge whenever we have heavy rain, watching the drains, seeing if the puddles turn to rivers, gonna be a long night tonight i think x
@WayneBirch11@kellyb082@EmmaDawn1978@Natasha40080121 @RatedRyan18 What i can see out of the window up the road isnt too bad at the moment, round my back at the house its about ankle deep, one side of my back extension must be lower than the other, it will run round and down the drive when it comes round the other side hopefully, doors at side
Siaradais ar @NewyddionS4C ddoe am yr angen i asiantaethau, awdurdodau a llywodraeth ar bob lefel i gydweithio i sicrhau bod cymunedau fel #Sgiwen yn cael eu hamddiffyn rhag llifogydd. Mae'n annerbyniol bod pobl yn pryderu, ac yn aml yn dioddef, bob tro y cawn ni law trwm.
More rain due, we're planning and to prepare, and hope we dont get flooded again, everytime we get even a short heavy shower we end up with rivers where our roads should be, getting a bit tedious now, all we want is to be safe in our homes again #skewenfloods#justiceforskewen
@annietrev @nancygtembo@COP26@UKinMalawi I have a 7 year old whos suffering too! As well as a lot of other residents, seems you've missed #skewen completely and skipped the country, our suffering and misery is still ongoing, everytime it rains!! This was 2 days ago, 6 months after the flooding #justiceforskewen
