When the founders of coursera/edx were putting their pitch decks together, the assumption was that once you make education accessible & drastically reduce the cost, people would embrace it in droves.

They quickly realised the major issue wasn't cost or access, its the fact that people don't like education. It's boring.

Netflix will always have more subscribers than Edx or Coursera, because its easier to finish a movie than it is to finish an online course.

A group of Sudanese hackers, @anonymous_Sudan, hacked into X (Twitter) to get Elon's attention. They want Starlink in Sudan. Everyone thought it had to be Russia behind it. They actually had to show Sudanese passports to prove to BBC.
