Yet next week you host the Canada-EU summit in Montreal. Leaked drafts already outline the agenda: critical minerals deals, AI and cloud cooperation with “associated country” status, Galileo participation, joint defence purchases, youth mobility, and the launch of that alliance. Canadians are learning the real substance the same way we learned about the $50-billion Maple Fund—through leaks and announcements after the room had already decided.
We remember the Canada Investment Summit. You hosted it. Your former firm Brookfield and the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board walked out with a joint framework in which each puts up to $25 billion of capital toward large Canadian projects. You were in the room. Your networks were in the room. The public got the press release.
This is the pattern. Speak abroad or at closed investor gatherings. Float ambitious language. Let the drafts and the commitments form. Then tell Parliament it can debate what is already in motion. Treat the country like a company you run and Canadians like employees whose job is to pay the bills and accept the strategic direction.
Polls you cite do not substitute for a mandate you never sought on EU association. Leaked memos are not consultation. A vote after the ink is dry on the framework is not oversight.
Why are you advancing deeper EU institutional ties, potential program contributions, regulatory alignment, and mobility arrangements without first putting the substance in front of the Canadian Parliament? Why do we keep finding out what is being negotiated from European drafts rather than from open debate in Ottawa?

Debt servicing is now the fastest-growing federal expense, projected to consume almost 1 in 7 dollars of revenue by 2030.

Now the truth finally comes out that the state of New York wants the Amish people‘s properties and land so they can build their data centers. How disgusting 🤮
 The Amish of Central New York told the seditious Governor Kathy Hochul they would pack up, abandon their farms and leave if the Governor tried forcing vaccines on their children. The Governor fined them over $100,000 and demanded they comply anyway.
When the Amish decided to fight back, taking the wicked Governor to court, Hochul's minion Senator Fahy drew up even more legislation to pressure them to leave, attacking their children again, this time through an anti-homeschooling bill.
Tens of thousands of acres of cleared Amish farmland are at stake. The Amish have spent decades clearing their land by hand and horse. The hard work has been done.
But if the Governor has her way, the Amish will be forced to sell that cleared land to the solar farms and data centers knocking on the doors for it.
Who will help the Amish stand up to this maniacal Governor? We need to expose this on social media and we need to get the right people involved to represent the Amish and help them fight This evil demonic power and control of New York.

He hasn't even done anything he campaigned on and why anyone would have voted in the LPC when it had the same failed ministers under Trudeau (with Carney economically advising him) is baffling.
