Yesterday was my last day with @hokiesfb. I am truly blessed for the opportunity come to Blacksburg and work for the Hokies. I have worked with so many great people that will have an impact on me for the rest of my life. Thankful for this chapter and can’t wait for the next.
Last month, I designed the @libertyfootball visual identity for NSD26.
This campaign reimagined “Strike” in our program motto, Strike The Stone. Instead of striking a stone until it breaks, “strike” was redefined as a lightning “strike,” resulting in a storm-driven theme. 🧵⚡️
SNES concept courtesy of @jdotsawyers. The vintage style pushed me to find ways to make it feel authentic. I created stat graphics for James Franklin’s 23rd-ranked recruiting class (built in under two weeks). James Beach played a major role in developing the SNES assets. (2/2)
NSD26 was one for the books.
I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. I was able to take advantage of a Virginia Tech vintage photo set from OVs to use as inspiration for my graphics. (1/2)
Labor of love for NSD 26 📈 @HokiesFB
Went up to my guy James Beach with the idea, and he killed the player animations. Wanted to utilize an old SNES vibe for this one 👾
