Akpabio said the Senate are yet to finish the process of passing the Electoral Amendment Bill so complaints and protest are unripe for now.

In that speech Akpabio made it clear that he considers Nigeria incapable of transmitting election results in real time due to poor electricity and network.

When the Senate under Akpabio's leadership passed the bill increasing electricity tariff they did not consider that Nigerians are yet to enjoy sufficient supply of electricity.

When they were buying yacht and building billions of naira worth of mansion for the VP they did not remember that Nigeria needed to have sufficient supply of electricity.

Akpabio should know that the time to give Nigerians good governance is now. Everything necessary to entrench electoral integrity and uphold the will of the people in electing their leaders must be done now.
