Deeply saddened by this news. A huge thank you to @in_wimbledon @DonsOnFilm @Niall Couper for releasing part of his story recently, we will learn from this forever. History maker. Rest in peace 🙏

We are saddened by the passing of former Wimbledon striker Francis Joseph.

Francis became the first black player to represent the Dons in the Football League when he made his debut in 1980 and was our Player of the Year.

Our thoughts are with his family and friends. RIP.
