Poor signings, pointless loans and promising youngsters not given their chance before leaving the club for nominal fees. Not sure this is how DNA was sold to the fans
@1_LPfannenstiel No disrespect to the lad Cameron but what is the long-term benefit to the club signing him on loan with no option to buy? Yet Finlay Marshall, one of the top performers in the championship isn’t recalled and with his contract set to run out we risk losing.
@BeckettUnite U got ur windfall https://t.co/TCogkXVwzJ have withdrawn 100m of investment,Shell 25bn investment in the UK energy system is under review & Equinors 8bn project in doubt.Short sighted policy that increases reliance on foreign imports & reduces future energy transition investment
@TipperFollower @casey_are @whatkatthinks @BeckettUnite https://t.co/sjiyN83XlD The media continues to focus on the profits operators are making as opposed to the significant investments being made in the UK economy and the energy transition. Will these investments continue if further tax increases are implemented?
@BeckettUnite Profits announced are global. Oil and Gas operators are already paying the highest tax rate of any industry in the UK and this year are expected to add an extra £8 billion to UK coffers. Yet companies like Amazon continue to avoid tax and the media spotlight.
