Session 4 = making noise that lands. Richard Morgan (ITV) cut through the fluff on pitching to newsrooms and writing press releases that get picked up. Nia followed with sharp social media strategy to turn digital content into real influence.

Yesterday’s RISE UP was fire. We’re tired of being spoken about; video gives us control to challenge systems. It’s advocacy, power, and evidence. 🎥✊
Visibility creates influence. ‘Nothing about us without us’ means pulling the stick out of the systems. ♿✨ #RISEUP
Day 1 of RISE UP with DPAC was pure power! 💥 Strategy, solidarity, and zero apologies. We’re not just talking about change; we’re building the skills to demand it. This is disabled-led leadership in action. Let’s go! ♿️📣✊ #RISEUP#DPAC#Wales#DisabilityRights

This isn’t just history.
It’s lived trauma.
Romans threw us off cliffs.
Tudors hid us.
Victorians locked us away.
Nazis murdered us.
Now? We’re cut from care, PIP & punished for existing.
We’ve always fought back.
We’re not done.

1/12 Despite the rain yesterday, disabled people and allies turned out to lobby the Senedd, demanding an end to benefit cuts that perpetuate our marginalisation.
Fingers and toes and everything crossed!
'The government has a working majority of 165 in the Commons, meaning that 83 Labour MPs would need to oppose the bill to force a parliamentary defeat.'
