can't emphasize how true it is. i was so shy when I started my corporate career, had that imposter syndrome too. then I joined a startup, reporting directly to CEO. i was there for 7 months but man the confidence that man used to radiate, it changed me as a person. quick decisions & super quick actions. he used to think less and act more, often sound dumb but he used to not care at all. my learning is you can be confident and stupid or wrong, doesn't matter as long as you're willing to correct yourself at every step.

i'll keep saying it: anyone who lacks confidence should spend more time around people with power. You will see how incredibly stupid a lot of of them are, and how much fumbling there is. There is really no reason to have a lack of confidence unless it is directly based on a lack of skills. If the lack of confidence is just based on thinking, other people are somehow vastly smarter: It is very easy to empirically prove they are mostly not.

To be Frank, this trend of cricketer watching Tennis started bcoz of Tendulkar who is a genuine fan of the sport.
Later as a PR gimmick for kohli, to show him as next Sachin, he sat there to watch it, then the Madness continues with Gill, Abhishek now Vaibhav.
These dudes don't even be loving Tennis but for their PR they all are made to sit their to watch it and I don't understand why they all wear Two piece Suit and black Shades. They don't even look comfortable in it.
