@boredofwoke@Timcast What's the basis behind the 24 week cutoff? Not trying to be argumentative just curious the reasoning for what can be considered an arbitrary number.
@Timcast Thank God that we only have to give minorities the hand-me-down characters. Imagine having to put in the effort to make new, original characters to represent people?
@KyoAlexiel@CorporaCallosa@Timcast Dude there are legitimate arguments for liberty and freedom of choice, and even legitimate arguments against the vaccine and the mishandling of covid. Your response only decredits the legitimate arguments
@zilch1@Timcast I suppose the excuse is that we must protect those with conditions that don't allow them to get the vax. Seems like an outrageously low amount of people for these restrictions though, imo.
@renisance360@Timcast I agree. My biggest skepticism is the grounds upon which they got him for murder. I'd totally agree with a manslaughter charge with harsh sentencing. But the legal argument for murder 2 and 3 is rough in my opinion.
@renisance360@Timcast While I agree, I didn't phrase this to mislead. Testimony proposed that Chauvin caused Floyd's death because of positional asphyxia which caused cardiopulmonary arrest. Proof that he didn't asphyxiate would allude to the cardiopulmonary arrest being due to other causes.
@jane_resists@real_vt16@Timcast I agree on that. The death penalty for this? No. But we can both agree that Floyd would be alive today if he got in the car and accepted the penalties of his actions. We can't bring him back. Let's teach kids not to break the law, and how to interact with police.
@jane_resists@real_vt16@Timcast Because its a crime. Floyd was hurting a black owned business, and ruining the livelihood of the young black cashier, who would have had to pay back the counterfeit. The kid asked floyd 2x to resolve it without police, he refused. I don't like Chauvin, but floyd wasn't an angel.
@jane_resists@CougJoseph@real_vt16@Timcast As much as I hate victim blaming and don't agree with the above statements, he was in a smaller car before. He's been arrested before. Claustrophobia was an excuse, and even then. Just because I'm afraid of prison doesn't mean I don't go there if I commit a crime.
@RustySh49071121 @Timcast My first thought was confusion. I figured I was wrong, because if I wasn't, they would have mentioned it in trial. I couldn't see the reason why, so I asked on twitter because people love to poke holes in your logic. Some of these made sense, others are just entertaining to read.
