Anyone who floors a gift that was intended to be for providing a “friend” with a solid piece of skin-in-the-game % in something they’re trying to build, particularly if it’s before that pursuit elevates to next levels, is someone with a sewer aura, gutter rat mentality. However they play mental gymnastics to justify and rationalize the sale, it is objectively delusional; the karmic ripple effects, while delayed, will be unavoidable.

You were given % in an early stage venture, that is not something that is immediate liquidity in any event.
You agreed on terms for receiving the gift—literally free money—elected to proceed with the arrangement, and then blatantly tossed your word like it didn’t carry weight…you are part of the majority of self-serving, short-sighted, foofy, greedy ass mfers who have infested this space.
